Interior

Plenty Of Room For All The Family... And Then Some!

The Pathfinder is incredibly spacious inside. The second and third row seats can also fold flat to create a flexible cargo area - without you needing to remove the seats or head rests.

Easy to clean

Dirt goes hand-in-hand with outdoor fun - so the rear cargo area of the ST and ST-L Pathfinder is designed for easy clean up once the gear is out.

Secure your load

You'll find convenient cargo tie-downs throughout the rear cargo area (ceiling and floor), so you can secure loose items like sleeping bags and camping gear.

Audio system

The Pathfinder ST features a single CD player with AMFM radio, whilst the ST-L and Ti models have a superb, 6 CD in-dash auto-changer with steering mounted controls.

Keep everyone comfortable

At last, there's an end to the war over cabin temperature! The Pathfinder ST-L and Ti feature dual zone climate control air-conditioning, which can be individually controlled by the driver and front passenger. Plus, the Pathfinder Ti also offers rear passengers control over their own air-conditioning.

Exterior

A bold new look

The adventurous Pathfinder even looks that way - with an aggressive mesh and chrome grille, muscular wheel wells and a ready-for-anything stance.

New look chrome grille

The new pathfinder has been given new styling enhancements in the front. Changes include a new bonnet, revised grille and a new bumper assembly. Adding 88mm to Pathfinders length, the bumper is more rounded and lends a more sporting and refined touch.

Intelligent Key keyless entry

The Intelligent Key automatically unlocks your Pathfinder without you having to fish it out of your bag or pocket. Once inside, the traditional key is not required to start the ignition as usual, all that is required is the turn of the ignition.

Roof rails

Maximising its cargo carrying ability, the ST-L and Ti Pathfinders come with durable roof rails with a 100kg maximum load. Adjustable crossbars can also be fitted at extra cost, so you can carry canoes, skis, camping gear, and more.

Alloy wheels

17" spoke alloy wheels on ST-L and Ti models and add a touch of ruggedness to the exterior. ST models feature 16" alloy wheels. All models feature a full size steel spare wheel.

Performance is where it matters when it comes to the Pathfinder, and it doesn't disappoint. With the latest generation common-rail turbo-diesel engine, boasting increased power and torque figures - 140kW of power and 450Nm of torque. Add to this an ALL MODE 4x4 system with high and low range 4WD, as well as 3000kg braked towing capacity.

2.5 litre diesel engine

Pathfinder is equipped with the latest generation 2.5 litre common-rail turbo-diesel engine, which boasts improvements to both power and torque. These is 140kW of power, an 11% increase in power over the last generation diesel engine and 450Nm of torque, a 12% increase over the last generation diesel engine.

DOHC

A double overhead cam is characterised by two camshafts located within the cylinder head, one operating the inlet valves and one operating the exhaust valves.

ALL-MODE 4x4

Go where less capable vehicles fear to tread. Set in "Auto," this system continually adjusts the amount of power to each axle, providing improved traction on rough or slippery surfaces. When it senses adequate grip, the system automatically switches back to 2WD for maximum economy. Switch the ALL-MODE 4x4 dial above for animation display.

Suspension

All Pathfinder models come with an independent front and rear suspension, resulting in a smooth ride on any terrain. Plus, the rear suspension is designed to maximise interior space and provide high-riding comfort to those in the second and third row.

The Pathfinder features the latest in safety innovations to protect you and your family. This includes Vehicle Dynamic Control on all models and roof-mounted curtain supplemental airbags on the Ti model - which stay inflated long enough to help protect all your passengers.

Vehicle Dynamic Control

Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), also known as Electronic Stability Program, is an advanced standard safety feature, which helps you remain in control of your vehicle during critical situations to avoid serious accidents. The VDC system achieves this by comparing the actions of the driver with the momentary vehicle behaviour and controls the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Traction Control Systems (TCS) accordingly, to initiate the appropriate corrective action by selectively braking individual wheels and controlling engine power. This stabilises the vehicle and keeps it on its intended path.

Anti-lock Braking System

The Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) helps you retain directional control whilst braking. It optimises braking performance by sensing wheel lock and sending a signal to the braking system to release the locked wheel. As the wheel unlocks, it can be steered. The system individually applies and releases the brakes to help provide optimum stopping and control under extreme braking situations.

Brakeforce Distribution

Senses the load condition of both passengers and luggage to optimise rear brakeforce and control front and rear brake distribution. This enables safer driving, whether on your own or while carrying a full load of passengers or cargo.

Dual front airbags

Reduces the risk of facial and upper body injuries to the driver and passenger in the event of a frontal collision. The airbags are designed to remain inflated long enough to help provide enhanced protection.

Rear Park Assist

The Nissan Rear Park Assist (NRPA) system on Ti models has four body-coloured ultrasonic sensors on the rear bumper to assist you when you're reverse parking. The sensors send information to a speaker, which beeps to let you know how close you are to another object. The closer you get, the more often it beeps.

Active Brake Limited Slip

If a loss of traction is detected in one of the drive wheels, ABLS applies individual braking force to that wheel to help slow it down. Power is then re-directed to the wheels with greater traction.
